    peeron inventory —John Patterson
April 1 Sunday Corrections sent to inv@peeron again are not getting posted. It has been a bit since they did a few. And again I am finding a lot of mistakes in the inventories. I still stick by the 95% figure. By posting changes needed or at least (...) (17 years ago, 2-Apr-07, to lugnet.inv)

        Re: peeron inventory —Jonathan Lopes
(...) A lot of people might be at or now just getting in/recovering from Brickfest in Portland. Best, Jonathan (17 years ago, 2-Apr-07, to lugnet.inv)

         Re: peeron inventory —John Patterson
(...) Sorry, did not know that it was that big of an event. I'll have to go next year. I am sure that there are people that would like to throw things at me. John P (17 years ago, 2-Apr-07, to lugnet.inv)

         Re: peeron inventory —Bob Parker
(...) There may be a way to make some money off of this. I'm thinking of those dunking booths at fairs that have a person sitting over the water tank and people throw balls at a target so that the person gets dunked in the water. You could set one (...)          Re: peeron inventory —Timothy P. Smith
(...) I'd do it. I would want face protection, but otherwise- sure. Throw a spherical Lego model at me for charity. I'll stand in an empty wading pool, we can collect the pieces for charity too! Tim (17 years ago, 3-Apr-07, to lugnet.off-topic.fun, FTX)

         Re: peeron inventory —Bob Parker
(...) I know that as a karate (sorry if I named your disipline wrong) pupil, you would probably be able to withstand some legos being thrown at you, I would still recommend against it since if I'm not mistaken, didn't Houdini die from being punched (...)       (...) Kung fu, or Shao-Lin Do, actually. They broke boards over us to test our meditative focus. This would be like that, only even more fun. (...) I was thinking of SNOT-spheres, not bricky ones. Those could hurt. (...) First building completed and (...) (17 years ago, 3-Apr-07, to lugnet.off-topic.fun, FTX)

        Re: peeron inventory —Dan Boger
(...) John - I certainly agree that you shouldn't assume an inventory made from instructions (or pictures for that matter) is 100% correct. That's exactly the reason why we specify the source of the inventory in the first place! As for updates, once (...) (17 years ago, 2-Apr-07, to lugnet.inv)

        Re: peeron inventory —John Patterson
(...) Thanks Dan. I don't believe that I made accusations about anything. I just said that it is taking a long time to make the corrections. I realize that there are volunteers and I would be willing to volunteer. I do not think that it takes more (...) (17 years ago, 3-Apr-07, to lugnet.inv)

        Re: peeron inventory —David Eaton
(...) Then please, leave out the commentary. You come across as being condescending, insulting, and rude. If you have corrections that you want to post to Lugnet, well, fine I guess. But if your intent is to start a flame war so that it draws (...) (17 years ago, 3-Apr-07, to lugnet.inv, lugnet.off-topic.debate)

        Re: peeron inventory —John Patterson
(...) Thanks Dave: Thanks Dave: I treat others well. If anything is rude it is the people that take apart every comment I make, which I really do not give a hoot about. The inventories are messed up; I am trying to fix that. Almost every one I look (...) (17 years ago, 3-Apr-07, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

         Re: peeron inventory —John Patterson
(...) Tim: I was not rude to volunteers, I even offered to volunteer to get thing done. I want to help and have only come here when Dan ignored my requests as to what was happening to the corrections sent into Peeron.com. I am still not sure what (...)          Re: peeron inventory —Timothy Gould
(...) --snip-- (...) John, It was not polite to make the comment "Corrections sent to inv@peeron again are not getting posted. It has been a bit since they did a few.". The reason it isn't polite is because it is a) unneccesary and b) expectant as (...) (17 years ago, 3-Apr-07, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

          Re: peeron inventory —John Patterson
(...) I differ with you here. Serious collectors need to know. You have no idea how many are wrong. This is not impolite. It is a systemic problem. Would you feel that it is more polite just to note it on Lugnet? If that is a solution I can do it. I (...) (17 years ago, 3-Apr-07, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

          Re: peeron inventory —Timothy Gould
--snip-- (...) Hi John, Thanks for taking that on board. Noone is saying your contribution isn't worthwhile and I don't think anyone minds your regular updates of what you've done.
