Hi, I wanted to mention that LPub is useful even if you are not working on a book, or web pages. It can be used to make building instructions from other peoples' DATs. It has an advantage over MLCAD in that it shows you pictures of the parts added (...) (22 years ago, 4-Oct-02, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.inst)

Hi Mike, I uploaded a new LPub with some fixes. I checked the pov-ray quality of 0 and it works now. I found a bug in L3P quality, fixed that and have uploaded it. Kevin (22 years ago, 4-Oct-02, to lugnet.inst)

Jason and Guybush, Sorry for the late response I've had my head down the mathematical toilet working on my synthesizer for bendable parts. I obviously do not get this problem. I develop on Windows 2000. What OS are you working on? LPub only has (...) (22 years ago, 4-Oct-02, to lugnet.inst)

Hi Dave and Ahui, LPub is not supposed to do this. Lars Hassing reported this long ago, and I thought I had fixed it. WHen LPub starts it makes a backup of the current pvengine.ini file. When LPub exits it is supposed to restore this file to its (...) (22 years ago, 4-Oct-02, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.inst)

WOW! This is seriously impressive and it couldn't have come at a better time. I am just putting together the instructions for my first custom kit, and until I saw this message and downloaded the software, I was handwriting a series of scripts to (...) I am having the same problem. Access violations whenever it tries to generate a parts list. I have done nothing with the camera feature either. (22 years ago, 24-Sep-02, to lugnet.inst)

Hi Jason, It must be an lpub bug. I will wrestle with the camera tonigh and see what I can shake out. This bug should not persist when you shut LPub down and bring it back up, unless you saved the configuration. If you saved configuration, you might (...) (22 years ago, 19-Sep-02, to lugnet.inst)

I worked on the RIS book that Syngress is going to publish and so I had extensive experience working with LPub. This tool really is amazing. The Brickshelf instruction scans are a wonderful resource for us as a community, but lately I have become interested in seeing box scans as well. They would be a great resource for building ideas. Since the launch of BricksinmyPocket.org and their implementing the CharityWare concept, I have wanted to apply this same idea to the BI Portal. So (...) (...) Hum.. You might want to put a link to POV-Ray as well. A link to Version 3.1g would be best for most users and Ver3.5 is still a bit *buggy* in terms of what most LDraw users do.
