If you alter your Pov settings using the Render->Edit Settings/Render menu
pick (which essentially allows you to set what are effectively command line
options), LPub overwrites these. I ran into this issue.
I am seeing a situation where LPub will generate a few images and then hang.
I have to kill it to terminate LPub.
