Uh, WHERE in TRU - in the Lego section, or elsewhere?  I didn't see any in
the Sunnyvale TRU as of 2 days ago, and I need to know if I need to look
all over the store!

I gotta decide if I'm going to drive to the next nearest TRU to get a
couple.

Yeah!  I found set 1298 (Advent Calendar) at my local TRU in Anderson,
SC for 19.99.  There were four, with a shelf space and sticker for
them.  Of course I bought one, how could I resist?  Anyone else seen
these in the US? Anyone know if S@H is going to carry them now?

In the Whitehall, PA TRU these were in the LEGO section.
Beware though that if you're "quick scanning" the shelves
you may miss them.  The box is marked "classic" but doesn't
really stand out like I expected it too.  In fact, I was
there two days in a row and didn't see it the first day, and
almost missed it the second day, making me think it MIGHT
have been there the first day.  Anyway, I bought all 4 that
they had.  Hopefully the will restock soon.  The set is FULL
of great pieces including many medium slopes, and plates, and
a variety of other pieces.  I will be posting a set inventory
soon.  Box count says 218 pieces, but I come up with 257.
Even without splitting the torso of the 2 minifigs into 2 pieces
the count is still 255.  Each individual day is a separate bag,
and each bag has it's own extra pieces.  In some cases there are
more than one extra piece, like 1x1 round plates.  There were
often 3 in the bag, but only one in the instructions.

<snip> Guys, is there a pic somewhere of this calendar? Don't think we have it here in Holland, and I'm really curious what it looks like... (25 years ago, 1-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)
