Checked three TRUs in the Raleigh area (Raleigh, Durham, and Cary) and no
sign of the Advent Calendar set here. Figures ... in fact the Raleigh TRU
just underwent some sort of a reorganization. The new layout is awful. It
kind of reminds of a maze. The store now steers you around so you have to
essentially pass through all of the areas before you get to the checkout.
Yuch!
BTW - in the LEGO aisle, LEGO seems to be giving up shelf space to Mega
Blocks. There used to be only a few sets and now there are a bunch. Lots
of NASCAR sets, but being here in NASCAR country that is not a real
surprise. I wish LEGO had done NASCAR, the NASCAR fan base could probably
single handedly rescue LEGO from their financial woes with the amount of
collectible stuff they buy (well maybe not but it would probably make a
sizeable dent).
