I agree. I like this set a fair bit, except for the flexible axles.
I am actually thinking of giving it as a wedding present (not the only
present, these are pretty good friends) to a Formula 1 Racing fan
Either that or the shell racer if I can find another copy for a good
price.

| (...) If it's anything like like the "hydraulic" cylinder in the 8445 Indy Storm, it isn't hydraulic at all. It's a pneumatic thing, although unlike the other pneumatic stuff, it doesn't connect via tubes to anything else. It's basically a sealed (...) (25 years ago, 31-Jul-99, to lugnet.general)
