  Re: Hey, BrickShelf-users, seen this?

(...) Thanks JoJo and of course HoMa, That sums up my feelings about BS lately in an amusing way. Love the second image to make the point. I'd love to see a filesize limit imposed for images. Or at the least to ban BMP files. Tim (18 years ago, 3-Sep-06, to lugnet.general)

(sigh) Nothing lasts forever... I shoulda known. (URL) just kept putting off getting it because I figured I could get it anytime...   Getting Lego Factory to work

Is there a guide on getting Lego Factory to install on my old computer? It meets the requirements, but all I don't even get to the file-install screen. I get past the language prompt and the user agreement and that's about it. It's a bit frustrating (...) (18 years ago, 31-Aug-06, to lugnet.general)

  Re: TLGs wasteful box sizes?

"Tom Stangl, VFAQman" <talonts@vfaq.com>: (...) Another problem with these big boxes is that they're hard to get home if you don't have a car. I've been looking for the 4896 (black Saab-like car) set for a while, AFAIK Lego have had some supply (...) (18 years ago, 30-Aug-06, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: No Announcements from the Brickfest 2006 Folks....

(...) Nothing on windows. They announced the new train box, for March of next year. Talked about whittling down 80 train MOCs made from the part selection in the box to 30 for inclusion in the box. No mention yet of what sort of instructions, there (...) (18 years ago, 29-Aug-06, to lugnet.general)

Re: No Announcements from the Brickfest 2006 Folks....

(...) Gary, Sorry, I don't recall any info on windows. Maybe you'll just have to break down and come to BF and corner some poor LEGO Group Executive, and force the truth out of him/her! Whatever that truth is... Have Fun, C-Ya! Richard Schamus (...) (18 years ago, 29-Aug-06, to lugnet.general)

Re: No Announcements from the Brickfest 2006 Folks....

(...) Because I got home at 4 AM, the kids were up at 7 AM, and I have to teach the first class of the term tomorrow afternoon. Sleep is for the weak. It was wonderful, from a bunch of great MOCs (my first Moonbase MOC), the NXT Q&A sessions were (...) (18 years ago, 29-Aug-06, to lugnet.general)

Re: No Announcements from the Brickfest 2006 Folks....

(...) Well, I certainly didn't sign a NDA. What can I say. Same thing I say every year. Awesome spectacle by most of the best builders around! Wished that you could have been there Gary. And many more (you too Erik). Have Fun, C-Ya! Rich (Coming (...) (18 years ago, 29-Aug-06, to lugnet.general)

Re: No Announcements from the Brickfest 2006 Folks....

Maybe there is no news to tell... I detoured from BrickFest at the last minute to attend Playmobil World (funny scheduling, huh?) The awesome display there was a preview of the Roman theme Playmobil, which should be in the US in 2007. The German (...) (18 years ago, 28-Aug-06, to lugnet.general)

Re: No Announcements from the Brickfest 2006 Folks....

(...) Sorry, we're not really at liberty to discuss details... ;) And there were enough LEGO people there to sign all the attendees into NDA's. I think someone said there were 30 employees there? I'm guessing that doesn't include the retail store (...) (18 years ago, 28-Aug-06, to lugnet.general)

Re: No Announcements from the Brickfest 2006 Folks....

Is there some sort of information embargo? Or is everyone simply too wiped out from brick excess? Please share! The only thing recent to pop-up has been this scan: (URL) like a promotional flyer for a train-based LEGO Factory. --- Bryan "Gerhard (...) (18 years ago, 28-Aug-06, to lugnet.general)

No Announcements from the Brickfest 2006 Folks....

My worst fears have come true..... all the folks attending the 2006 Brickfest have had to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement by TLG..... ;-) Why else has no one posted on Brickfest announcements?? Gary Istok (18 years ago, 28-Aug-06, to lugnet.general)
