Sponge Bob Square Pegs, I believe will be part of the LEGO 4+ line. In other words replacing the Pirates 4+ line. The minifig size or style will be like the Jack store/Pirates 4+, with new parts but no new colors. If there are gonna be new colors, it will then LEGO has gone back on their word. About the number of colors they cut from 106 to 56 mention late last year or early this year.

If, as is stated inthe article, the audience of Spongebob is in the 6-11 range, I would hope that LEGO would not make the sets part of the 4+ line...

Also, Didn’t someone from LEGO say at Brickfest that trying to bridge from Duplo to System wasn’t working well for them and that they wouldn’t not keep trying?

As for the colors, it depends on what you consider “New”. I’d like to see more parts available in the already realease “new” colors, as in anything that isn’t a primary color. If they release new, different colors, then that would be a problem.

I thought the same thing, it is for 6 - 11 year olds so hopefully will not be juniorised.

And I must say I am already dying for a patrick starfish minifig, what would that look like?..... but then again I was also excited by shark boy in the harry potter sets, so that might be an indication of how easily pleased I am.

As for Avatar: The Last Airbender, there are some great possibilities for sets relating to that show. Hopefully both will be done in regular minifig scale.
