Is there any sets where Lego has included references
to other trademarked names.
One example I can think is Jeep,
for the 711 Jeep CJ-5 set.

Are the ferries (Stena, Silja),
and Maersk, names copyright/trademarks?

Any others?

Keep on bricking,
dave

(...) Ironically the very first trademarked items came out 50 years ago this year. That would be the Esso Service Station accessories. In 1955, with the advent of the Town Plan TLG produced 3 Esso trucks (#1250/#250 Esso Barrel Tanker, #1251/#251 (...) (19 years ago, 12-Jul-05, to lugnet.general)

(...) Dave; If you want to include pre-building block lego the 1:43 cars/trucks (Modelbiler) were all licensed from Chevolet. Packaging, etc even include the Chevolet trademark. (19 years ago, 13-Jul-05, to lugnet.general)
