But I was a little confused on the picture of the town plan board:

By comparing it with the 60th town plan board in the early 60th catalogues (set
no. 200) it seems to have a different direction of the printing:

Did the english town plan board always have this other direction of the
printing?

(...) Hi Ronald, From 1960 (when Lego first came to Britain) until 1963, the continental European Town Plan board was used in Britain (along with the continental #810 Town Plan set). Starting in 1963 Britain had their own Town Plan set and Town Plan (...) (20 years ago, 19-Oct-04, to lugnet.general)

Eric Strand, who is helping me with the Lego CD (he's becoming a Samsonite expert) recently discovered some heretofore unknown Town Plan sets from the 1960's. The king of all 1960's sets was the Town Plan set with Town Plan board. In the USA/Canada (...) (20 years ago, 19-Oct-04, to lugnet.general)
