New LPC and Top 10 at www.rotule.qc.ca

NEW TOP 10 LIST Last Top 10 list was about ways to convince the LEGO company to re-release Monorail sets. It wasn't the funniest list ever, but some entries were very funny. Go check it out! The new Top 10 List asks the questions : What Minifig (...) (22 years ago, 24-Jun-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.fun, lugnet.announce, FTX) !

Re: The Two Towers : New poster at www.rotule.qc.ca

(...) Votes have been restored. The LOTR:TTT poster is now the most voted! That's amazing! Thank you all for your time! Terry (22 years ago, 24-Jun-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: The Two Towers : New poster at www.rotule.qc.ca

(...) When I wrote my comment about waiting for others to do it, I was thinking about you. You can still make your own version and I'll stil put it on the website. I only limit one poster for each movie for each person, so that doesn't limit the (...) (22 years ago, 24-Jun-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: The Two Towers : New poster at www.rotule.qc.ca

Hey Terry, I liked this poster. I'm a little bummed that I never got around to doing that one myself. I'll have to be a little quicker on RotK when I find an official movie poster for that. My only complaint was that I would have made the tower on (...) (22 years ago, 24-Jun-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: what sets include the compass piece?

Hello! (...) Compasses with Pirate pattern can be found in these sets: (URL) And yes, it's a working compass. Bye Jojo (URL) (22 years ago, 24-Jun-03, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: The Two Towers : New poster at www.rotule.qc.ca

Some votes were accidentally destroyed, we will restore them with backup. A security problem that occured a while ago with the Minifig Hall of Fame happened again last night, but with the posters files. The FOTR:TTT file was lost, but we had a (...) (22 years ago, 24-Jun-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: The Two Towers : New poster at www.rotule.qc.ca

(...) I rated it a 5 before I read this post, here is why. I think the poster is good, and had I not seen some of your other work I would have problably given it an 8. I was just prejudiced by some of your awesome previous works. I love the concept (...) (22 years ago, 24-Jun-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: FYI - BIP Traffic bug

(...) OK, bad form to reply to my own message, I know. This bug is now fixed (as is the disappearance of the reviews, which was related). If you notice any problems, bugs, or weirdness about the traffic numbers or reviews, please let me know. Also, (...) (22 years ago, 24-Jun-03, to lugnet.inst, lugnet.general)

Re: Lego Road Show: the Prequel

(...) Very nice castle ruin settings Dave - I mostly like the peasant stealing the timber from the ruin! I could have used a close-up picture of the chickens behind the house. How come there is a giant skeleton-head-plant-thingy on Travis' pictures, (...) (22 years ago, 24-Jun-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.org.us, lugnet.org.us.nelug, lugnet.events)

Re: Lego Road Show: the Prequel

(...) Sweetness. (...) Dave, Thank you, Dan, Jennifer, and Travis for the numerous photos and sharing the unique experience. I'm so sorry your AT-AT bit the dust. You can rebuild him without too much hassle, right?! I have to echo Brendan Powell (...) (22 years ago, 24-Jun-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.org.us, lugnet.org.us.nelug, lugnet.events, FTX)

  Getting ready to engrave

New spiffy fun on your fest info page www.wildlink.com/fest/fest.php It now includes an image of what your BrickFest 2003 badge will look like (approximately, of course). We are going to send the list of people to the engraver soon, so it'd be a (...) (22 years ago, 24-Jun-03, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.general)

Re: The Two Towers : New poster at www.rotule.qc.ca

(...) It's not bad at all. While the characters are a little larger than the original, the poster is pretty good. I'm rating it as either a 7 or 8. -Dan (22 years ago, 24-Jun-03, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Quick review of 7470 Space Shuttle (plus lamenting STAMPs)

(...) That's exactly what I use for all STAMPs now, for all my sets that have them, and it does such a PERFECT job that I hardly complain about STAMPs anymore. Exacto ROCKS (22 years ago, 23-Jun-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.general)

Re: Lego Road Show: the Prequel

Dave, that medieval layout is superb. I'd seen some of your creations in the recent BrikWars photos, but the new stuff had me in stitches. I gawked in awe at the fossilized skeletal remains of the dragon in the underground cut-away. Excellent corn (...)   Re: The Two Towers : New poster at www.rotule.qc.ca

Whaaaa? I admit, I didn't expect such hard ratings. I'm very doubtful that this postr is *that* bad. So far, 4 persons have voted 0/10, which means that they think it is absolutely horrible. I've asked both my better-half and my best friend for (...) (22 years ago, 23-Jun-03, to lugnet.general)

  MOC Display Cards for BrickFest

Rather than do what I should have done - Namely: fix the core engine running the BrickFest Database - I instead worked on getting the Display Card function ready to run!
