 | | Is it Finals time?
Just curious if it is final exam time for people who are in school. I have noticed that things have been a bit quiet here this week. This seems to happen every so often and around the time that many Lugnet members are busy with the end of a school (...) (22 years ago, 7-May-03, to lugnet.general)

(...) My vote goes for 1991 or 1992: (URL) Team was great that year. I think I've started a fixation for Model Team sets... Technic wise '97 was a good year with large and cool models like 8479, 8480 and the 8880. My vote for "best year since I gave (...) (22 years ago, 7-May-03, to lugnet.general)

The exchange rate is app 6.6 DKK = 1 USD, so it is more like 6 USD / 100g It used to be ~7 DKK = 1 USD, which would be even better... | | Re: When did "extra's" start?
(...) Well, I think you have found the reason here; 6952 uses 2 1x1 trans-yellow round plates, and they are there as a pair as you described. Still I find it odd that theres no other extras, like the levers, of which the set uses 8; in a modern set, (...) (22 years ago, 6-May-03, to lugnet.general)

I remember that there used to always be extras of the 1X1 round plates; especially when the set used an odd number of them. Way back in The Day, the 1X1 round plates came in pairs on a sprue, so a set always had an even number of them. For (...) (22 years ago, 6-May-03, to lugnet.general)
