Least we forget that TLC just moved some of the manufacturing operations to
another European country (Slovakia or the Czech Republic ?). This was mentioned
about the same time as the announcement of the changes at Enfield, CT. The
reason cited was lower operating costs.
The more appropriate question might be: what changes are necessary to make TLC
profitable again. I don't see any room to raise prices. Lego may be the premier
brand of construction toy, but that doesn't give them a license to loose money.
