a question for everyone —Jonathan Lill
When building a set, do you assemble the minifigures first or last? Does it depend exactly on the minifigures? For some reason my own answer to this question has been gnawing at me as I put them together last and don't know why I do it. It reminds (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-01, to lugnet.general)

        definitely first —Paul Hartzog
i too have considered this before, i always do them first... it started off as a way to get the pieces out of the mix so they wouldn't get in the way but now i collect minifigs and computers/decorated-tiles so it must have been a subconscious (...)         Re: a question for everyone (first) —Brian Stuhan
I pretty much assemble the set the way the instructions say unless there's one part of the set I REALLY want to assemble before the book indicates. But I always assemble the figs first. I buy sets for the main model, but the figs will often help me (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jan-01, to lugnet.general)

Re: a question for everyone-Last but not least! —Matt Brooks
(...) You know.... I always build them last. Not sure why. I FIND all the minifig pieces first and dump them to the side, and then build the model, and then go back and build the minifigs after I'm done, putting them in the *right* place on the (...)      (...) Yeah why is it I leave the drink until the last and not sip at it throughout the meal unless the food is particularly salty, hot, or dry? Jonathan (23 years ago, 10-Jan-01, to lugnet.general)

Re: a question for everyone-Last but not least! —Matt Brooks
(...) I think this calls for an official survey of all Lugnet Members: 1) Do you build your minifigs first or last? 2) Do you turn the hands "right-side" up? 3) How do you eat your meals? I'm sure there's some sort of empirical scientific data we (...) (23 years ago, 11-Jan-01, to lugnet.general)

I assemble the minifigs first, then twist the hands into the right side-up position, just like the instruction booklet shows.        Well, here I am to flaw the pattern. I eat 1 thing at a time as well, but I always assemble the minifigures first, then line them up across my entertainment center until I'm ready for them.
