I've seen this with both new and old Minifigs. It seems inevitable if you swap
arms too much. I can't say that I've ever had one (including the new SW
minifigs) crack on a first swap, though.
I try to avoid it by ripping the arms out of my minifigs' sockets in as gentle
a way as I can, with slow and steady pressure.

| I changed arms on a bunch of newer style torsos (plain green, plain red and Star Wars) over the weekend. Removing the arms caused the torso to crack from the arm hole down to the waist. Anyone else experiencing this? Are they using thinner abs? (24 years ago, 17-Jul-00, to lugnet.general)
