actualy, the precepts of larritarianism and craigoism are quite
compatable! larry has even made note of it. (can't find that post, tho')
he's recognized that i am a purist in my own way. whenever i modify an
element, i strive to do it in a way that keeps the look and feel of official
lego product.
even though i've recieved many compliments that begin with "i don't
normally approve of modifing or painting lego, but...", i'm not out to
convert anybody. as long as we are being creative and incorporating our own
unique talents and visions, we are all part of the same "church of lego"!
being a "purist" is merely following a set of limitations, and that can
only be determined by each individual. just as our creations are all unique,
so are the limitations we choose to follow.
