    Advent Calendar Fun! —Thomas Main
   I ran out and bought a copy of the 1298 Advent Calendar tonight ('cos it's Dec. 1). Anyway, I thought it might be fun to post some silly pics of alternate models I made from the Dec. 1 set bag.       G'Day I have been collecting buckets, when the were on sale, all year long. That way the cost is spread out and I can buy more.      Ok, so today all I had to work with was a Santa minifig. I managed three pics: (URL) first is a lady fresh from the hairdresser or hatshop, second is a beggar and last a bald man with a neatly trimmed beard hey...give me a break...there was only 1 (...)       I'm not complaining, I thought you did a great job with only a fig to work with! How about doing something every 3 or 4 days with all the parts too?? or maybe just 1 part from each set..      I did the man with the beard thing once, but I used an all black body and gave him the black top hat. I wasn't sure if he looked more like Abraham Lincoln or an Amish man. P.S.      Are we all talking about 1298??? the two that we have been opening in the Pieniazek household: - are tracking each other set for set 100% so far, and that's 19 tries. - tracked what Thomas posted 100% until he stopped.       Mine has been tracking perfectly also. Is it possible that the tray was inserted into the box upside down? For the sets 1-6, 7-12, 13-18 the special inserts also work to illustrate larger models, and these also track with the pieces to date. It sure (...)      Sounds more like they are talking about 1076, or whatever the 99 Advent Calendar # is, that has more Santa minifigs than 1298 (the 98 Advent Calendar, only now released in the US for 99). I liked how the little paper sheets showed alternate models and thought I'd give it a try. I opened all 24 bags at once, then tried (...)    (...) Thanks for the comments. Yes, those are kids in costume (as a bunny, helicopter, and bird). Todd and I take all of our pictures with a SONY Mavica FD91.
