I remember as a kid there was a special LEGO set that came in a Samsonite
briefcase. This was in Canada, so I don't know if they were also available in
the US. I'm sure a glance through the old catalogues will elucidate what set
that was. Anyone care to hazard a guess?

| (...) Yes, Mike is correct. 1973 was the year that TLG took over USA LEGO production, and Enfield became the LEGO USA Headquarters. Prior to that it was in Colorado (home of Samsonite), and I can't remember the city (not Denver). LEGO first (...) (25 years ago, 29-Nov-99, to lugnet.general)
