A simple guess would be 3025, 3026, 3027 & 3028 (1 each). These are the
25th Anniv buckets and tubs. In addition 3029 and 3030 have 1 each
silver brick in Duplo.

I can't find the rest of this thread.  In what sets do silver 2x4 bricks
appear?

Ever since I bought my first anniversary bucket I've wondered what WAS it the
anniversary of?  1998-25 = 1973.

http://www.lego.com/info/history/hist7079.asp shows the only thing interesting
that year is the first ship, and a new logo.  I assume it must be the logo.
But this got me thinking.  Here are some other things that would be worth
celebrating.

1977+25=2002: Do you think that we can expect silver technic pieces in 2002?
That would be the 25th anniversary of the Technic series.  That would be
cool!  What would be your most desired silver technic piece?

1978+25=2003: Silver minifigs?

1979+25=2004: A Silver space series?  THAT would be awesome!

1984+25=2009: A Silver castle set!  Its a long time to wait for that silver
dragon, but it'd be worth it!

1989+25=2014: A Silver Pirate line!!!

Anyway, since the current brick was invented in 1958, I think they should have
GOLD anniversary sets in 2008!

And in 1966+50=2016 we should see a gold train set.
