Custom Lego Building Benches and Tables

I bought a house a few months ago and will be turning part of the finished attic into a Lego space. I've seen someone else ask a question like this, but that was a few years ago, so I'll ask again now :) I am looking for ideas for building my own (...)   Re: Holy Mackerel! LEGO survey...

(...) A point worth mentioning is that the difference between LEGO quality and MEGABLOKS quality is not as great as the difference in price, and that's the real problem. As long as the consumer perceives that MEGABLOKS are good enough relative to (...) (21 years ago, 25-Apr-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego, FTX)

For the Love of the Brick...

For crying out loud people! I leave for a weekend to do a LEGO train show and I come back to more if the same b-fest??? I have disagreed with Larry on issues in the past--quite vocal at sometimes too--but the issue was with opinions, not the person. (...) (21 years ago, 25-Apr-05, to lugnet.general)

  Want list generator

Hi! Pedro Silva and I have briefly discussed this. He sent me a list with parts he want - mostly with ldraw part numbers. And there are 500 of them. A lot. So I was thinking about using lugnet's partsref to see the parts as pictures, create a small (...) (21 years ago, 25-Apr-05, to lugnet.general)

Re: LEGO stickers for your car?

Like this you mean ?? (URL) couple of Brickish members have car decals as one of our number Rhys Knight produces car decals for a living. They are backed with a magnetic sheet so they can be removed when normality is required :) (21 years ago, 25-Apr-05, to lugnet.general)

Re: AoJT3: Johnny Thunder and the King of the Gypsies (Update April 22)

Hey all, Here is the latest four additions to the story. There might be a bit of a hiatus after this, as it is finals time again. Though I would estimate that it is nearing, if not already on, the downward slope to resolution... or at least I hope (...) (21 years ago, 25-Apr-05, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.general)

Re: If you could wish for any single Lego element, what would it be?

(...) The 1/4 pyramid could be used for the peak of a 2 sided hip roof (in the armpit of an "L" shaped building on a square/rectangular base. The 1/4 pyramid (1x1 double convex) and the 1x1 double concave have a lot of uses besides on a roof. For (...) (21 years ago, 25-Apr-05, to lugnet.general)

Re: Blue box 4483 AT-AT - new colors?

(...) I didn't get a response in .color, so will try in .general since this is not meant to be a "political" color question. Anyone?? Thanks, Steve (21 years ago, 25-Apr-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.color)

Re: LEGO stickers for your car?

Maybe. I'd put a LUGNET-logo sticker on my car, for sure. James Wilson Dallas, TX (21 years ago, 25-Apr-05, to lugnet.general)

  LEGO stickers for your car?

So, I was thinking about the Cult of LEGO and the Cult of Macintosh (I have dual membership), and wondered if adult LEGO fans would put LEGO logos on their cars like Apple nuts do. A couple of friends indicated that they would. I would. Anyway, I (...) (21 years ago, 24-Apr-05, to lugnet.general)

Re: If you could wish for any single Lego element, what would it be?

(...) My one wish would be a double concave 75 degree slope in black, and it would be sold to the public in a pack of various black 75 degree slopes. (...) Yes, that would be wonderful as well. An inside corner (double concave) like this would also (...) (21 years ago, 24-Apr-05, to lugnet.general)

Re: [rtlToronto] rtlToronto Train Show April 24th, 2005

(...) Well, setting up went as smooth as one could possibly expect, considering the bad weather and long lineups. Anyway, a reminder that if you're in the GTA tomorrow, come on over to the International Centre and have a boo at the layout. I've put (...)   Apply the mirror concept!

Great thread idea, Gary! There are tons of excellent ideas listed here, but I can't pick any one (or choose just one of my own) so I'll step back a little for my suggestion. I wish Lego would attempt to always produce a "mirror" or inverse of the (...) (21 years ago, 23-Apr-05, to lugnet.general)

  Re: BrikThulhu Rising

(...) Hint: look at it upside-down. Mike, these paintings are EXCELLENT! Not just 'tulhu, but everything you've painted. From the heroic spacemen on the battlefield to the evil timmies... wonderful work. (21 years ago, 23-Apr-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: BrikThulhu Rising

First the abomination of the nega bloktrix, then the fearsome two by two, now, as if in answer to the signs of the apocalypse, BrikThulhu. I am trying to figure out if BrikThulhu emerged from the illuminated portal on the left face of the pyramid. I (...) (21 years ago, 23-Apr-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: Holy Mackerel! LEGO survey...

(...) Definitely. In fact, LEGO is essentially the ONLY toy I buy as gifts for children. (...) It is a great toy. It teaches creativity and should be part of everyone's childhood. And I give it as gifts because many parents do not buy it due its (...) (21 years ago, 22-Apr-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego, FTX)

  BrikThulhu Rising

Every day seems to bring new evidence of conspiracies within conspiracies in the upper echelons of Lego - but it was only recently that I noticed what should have been obvious all along: any common brick, studs-out and with one corner pointing (...)
