  Re: LEGO-related blogs?

(...) I see a bit of LEGO-related stuff here, but also have to give it extra points just for the Kids In The Hall reference. :) (...) I like the look/layout of this one. I'm guessing there's more yet to come? (...) Some very slick models. :) (...) (...) (21 years ago, 11-Mar-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.publish, FTX)

Re: "Ads by Goooooogle" at Brickshelf?

(...) Mine aren't in Swedish, unless I'm greatly mistaken about what Swedish looks like... :-) Not that I see any conspiracy necessarily, just good use of public info. (21 years ago, 10-Mar-05, to lugnet.general)

Re: "Ads by Goooooogle" at Brickshelf?

(...) Hmmmm. Their AdSense pages only seem to mention page content in regards to ad targetting, but it's not very detailed. It's possible it may also have access to HTTP request information, which it may be able to use to target ads too. ROSCO (21 years ago, 10-Mar-05, to lugnet.general)

Re: "Ads by Goooooogle" at Brickshelf?

(...) At a guess, your browser submits some limited information about you that google's using. What OS you're running, what language you prefer, your IP address, what browser you're using. I also wouldn't be suprised if some browsers out there spat (...) (21 years ago, 10-Mar-05, to lugnet.general)

Re: "Ads by Goooooogle" at Brickshelf?

(...) No insidious conspiracy here. Brickshelf show these ads to everyone who hasn't donated to Brickshelf. -Orion (21 years ago, 10-Mar-05, to lugnet.general)

  "Ads by Goooooogle" at Brickshelf?

I'm a little concerned about the boxes with "Ads by Goooooogle" that shows in my browser at Brickshelf and other sites. As they make ads with Swedish topics, there seems to be some kind of intelligence behind them(?), targeting the ads in a creepy (...) (21 years ago, 10-Mar-05, to lugnet.general)

Re: Cool new Lego sculptures at ToysRUs.... Wait a minute, is that?!?!?

(...) Well, I can't speak with any certainty of Mega Blocks parts, since I have NO idea what they make one way or the other.... But I CAN tell you that Lego doesn't use non standard parts (well, not anymore). The last year I was at the park, the (...) (...) Some of the ones I know of: (URL) thanks to Christian's prodding, I'm going to start putting effort back into my quasi-corporate, quasi-building instruction, quasi-general LEGO blog over at (URL) McKee Webmaster - BIP (URL) (21 years ago, 10-Mar-05, to lugnet.general)

Re: Cool new Lego sculptures at ToysRUs.... Wait a minute, is that?!?!?

(...) Was it this one by any chance? (URL) can't tell from the picture what the non-released parts might be, but I'll take your word for it. I was in NYC in February 2002 but I can't remember the displays all that well. A big dragon is the only (...) (21 years ago, 10-Mar-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

Re: Cool new Lego sculptures at ToysRUs.... Wait a minute, is that?!?!?

(...) Nice photo. The warrior is new style, but that TRU had a life-size bronze knight sculpture from the first wave of Dragons (2002). When I saw it, my first thought was: just like Lego, they've built it entirely from parts that have never been (...) (21 years ago, 10-Mar-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Re: Lego Electronic Lab Kit

(...) I won't kill you. But I wish to inform that I use clone brands like Byggis, and Tyco, and MegaBloks or already broken LEGO parts for my electric and electronic "hacking". /Tore (21 years ago, 10-Mar-05, to lugnet.general)

Hey Allen, Thanks for the comments on my blog (URL). I link to a couple of other blogs there, Jon Palmer's (URL) Zemi.net> and Bill Ward's, um, (URL) Bill Ward>.   LEGO-related blogs?

I saw this post today: (URL) included a link to a LEGO-related blog. I'm sure Bruce can't be the only one writing about LEGO in his blog. So I wondered: Is there a list of LEGO-related blogs somewhere? Or a way to search for them somehow? If no one (...) (21 years ago, 9-Mar-05, to lugnet.general)

Cool new Lego sculptures at ToysRUs.... Wait a minute, is that?!?!?

Hello all! I just got back from a business trip to Ney York, where I just finished a HUGE commision for a family in Long Island. Had some extra time so I decided to check out the Toys R Us Megastore in Times Square (among other touristy stuff). I, (...) (21 years ago, 9-Mar-05, to lugnet.general)

  the top 15 colors

Hey all, Well I got board today so rather than doing laundry or something else productive I decided to answer a question I have been asking myself for months.   Re: Help! How do you put an image inside of a post?!?

Help! How do you put an image inside of a post?!?

Hey all, Alright, as you all may be aware, computers ain't my forte. I have seen many a time here on Lugnet where there is an image INSIDE of the post instead of a link. How on earth do you do this? On the new post page there is a strange list of (...) (21 years ago, 9-Mar-05, to lugnet.general)
