| (...) This may not be a direct answer to your question, but I did have to pay for my latest replacement-part request. I took a gamble and picked up a 4483 AT-AT in a beat-up box, and unfortunately it was missing one of the bags (so I only had one (...) (21 years ago, 6-Jan-05, to lugnet.general)

| (...) They used to have really phenomenal quality control, but I think it's gone down in recent years. Every set I've ever had that was packaged before 1999 has been flawless. | I have a large collection of lego including sets purchased new, sets purchased second hand and parts (some from sets I have bought and kept only some parts from but most from second hand sources).
