Does anyone know who jdavis is? Or more helpfully, know a contact email address. There are some very nice buildings a couple of which I would like to copy but not without permission. JB (22 years ago, 20-Oct-04, to lugnet.general)

  3D Pumpkin Redesign

So I get the 2 3731 pumpkin packs and proceed to build the actual 3D pumpkin. "Nice little basic set", I says to myself. I take it to work to display at my cubicle, for it's the season for it, and anyone who walks by immediately grabs it to have a (...)   Re: Jake Chat II - Transcript

(...) Hi Jake! We can all accept that minor variance may be unavoidable during production, but in the past a Certain Other Brand has been blasted for failing to maintain laser-precise color consistency, so it seems that LEGO is getting a pass on (...)   Re: New (Old) Town Plan sets discovered.

(...) Here is another picture showing a slight variation of the 60's continental europe town plan. (URL) The photo of the children on the front must have been taken during the same photo shoot. I have no idea why they changed the photo... Eric (22 years ago, 20-Oct-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: Folder Tag abuse

(...) I was at one point, but I think Kevin decided he needed to do it all himself. I believe he felt it was to ensure consistency, and to ensure that people didn't bug the moderators to moderate their stuff first. (22 years ago, 20-Oct-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: Folder Tag abuse

Hello! Before I read this post I didn't even notice the folder descriptions displayed below the folder. I personally don't care much for my own folder descriptions, though I always try to check something appropriate. Sometimes I don't find an (...) (22 years ago, 20-Oct-04, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Folder Tag abuse

(...) I agree (...) I'm not sure...I think they understand english enough to put their pix...so I think they understand the folder tag issue. It's from my point a view not an excuse. (...) You are right and I'm going to make a post for french AFOLs (...) (22 years ago, 20-Oct-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: Folder Tag abuse

(...) Yes, I agree. I take care not to annoy other people with inappropriate cross genre stuff. When I cruise the Mecha section. I want to see Mecha. When I cruise the Space section I want to see Space MOCs, and so on. Oh well, what can you do. Only (...) (22 years ago, 20-Oct-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: Folder Tag abuse

(...) I think you raise valid points, folder tag abuse is sort of a bummer, isn't it? Most of us put a lot of thought into what keywords to select. However I think this particular user might not have English as their first language, so may not (...) (22 years ago, 20-Oct-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Folder Tag abuse

I really try not to complain. But the folder tags are and have been abused for sometime now. Look at this (URL) one>. Come on, check off all the boxes why don't ya! Quit it. Stop it. Knock it off. Built on. e (Oh right, it's gonna be put on a Mech, (...) (22 years ago, 20-Oct-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: New (Old) Town Plan sets discovered.

(...) Hi Ronald, From 1960 (when Lego first came to Britain) until 1963, the continental European Town Plan board was used in Britain (along with the continental #810 Town Plan set). Starting in 1963 Britain had their own Town Plan set and Town Plan (...) (22 years ago, 19-Oct-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: Batman fig in background of Sept/Oct lego club mag

(...) You're very welcome! I checked out that link and thought that the site was excellent. The Fantastic Four vs. Galactus scene was particularly nice IMO.   Re: Batman fig in background of Sept/Oct lego club mag

Hey, This has come up before. In another LEGO maq there were some custom figs by a LEGO employee in a crowd scene (I think they had a Thor fig). I would not read anything into this other than that the LEGO employee is also a fan and a fig customizer (...) (22 years ago, 19-Oct-04, to lugnet.general)
