Did anyone notice that Walmart - Toys - All brands no longer lists Lego? I have noted that the shelf space for Lego has been shrinking for the last year or so. A few brief stories-- I've had LEGO displays in fish tanks for the little fishes to swim through. After years of staying in the fish tank, I found that the LEGO pieces were stuck together quite firmly, and some pieces took much effort to pry apart. (...) Well I see that the color change of 2004 has generated some strong emotions... The first color change (of modern Lego starting in 1957) was that of 1962-70. Lego is not "just" a toy. But it is a toy. Lego is sold and marketed as a toy to children and adults who are buying toys for their children. After the recent LEGO bashing that has gone on on LUGNET since the color debacle a while back, I was ready to recind my membership. I'm glag other people are Fed UP!!!!!!! and saying so.
