Re: The Gallery - extreme lighting mod

(...) I'm definitely not going to look at normal "mods" with the same enthusiasm now. You're right... (...) It took a month of drilling and wiring working on it about 5-6 hours a week.   Re: The Gallery - extreme lighting mod

(...) One of our club members (Kenny Paul, BayLUG/LTC) has set up a similar kind of light show using standard LEGO parts only. Well, just the marquee part. Recently I got a secondhand 687, which has the (URL) and (URL) wings in blue, and I compared those wings with the white ones from my 6368. (...) Nice Surprise! But it is only 9 out of 12 regular sloped brick styles in the regular roof brick "system"....   Completing Lego "Systems"

When Lego sloped bricks came out in 1958, TLG created an entire system of slopes, namely 13 different ones. The only one of these 13 that was discontinued (in 1972) was the 2x2 peak with an "L" ridge line (back then this was made in addition to the (...) (22 years ago, 26-Jun-04, to lugnet.general)
