  Re: Announcing new Legend!

(...) Jake has told me, and I believe he's told the group here on LUGNET, that Consumer Affairs *does* track this information and *does* relay it to the appropriate department. But, I suppose that might not be good enough for people who "can never (...) (22 years ago, 8-May-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego, lugnet.admin.nntp, lugnet.admin.general)

(...) But telling Consumer Affairs is telling it to a black hole. It does nothing. However, as Jake has noted, TLG employees read Lugnet. So stating it here again....and again...and again {might} finally make it sink in as to how important it is to (...) (22 years ago, 8-May-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego)

Re: Request for Feedback - focused thread

Jake, I think it would be easiest on the company, you, and AFOLs if a Tub List were made up. Then produce that tub in Old Grey/DkGrey/Brown AND in New. Make the external tub color Old Grey for the old colors, and maybe black or New Brown for the New (...) (22 years ago, 7-May-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general)

(...) That's it. Tell customer service what you think. As for the rest of us, we already know, cause you've already told us...and told us...and told us. -Tim (22 years ago, 8-May-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego)

  Re: Announcing new Legend!

(...) Gil, Rereading my post i find it a bit ironic. It was not my intention. The answer was sincere but the words after the answer were ranting i must admit. (I thought that in this context of "what parts would you like being produced in old (...) (22 years ago, 8-May-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego, FTX)

  Re: Announcing new Legend!

I don't see this as ruining anything. I have read some very interesting posts with the direction this thread has gone. Some things have even given me perspective I had not previously considered. Why should you care, just don't read it! There are (...) (22 years ago, 7-May-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego)

  Re: Announcing new Legend!

(...) Yes, i agree, both of them are very desirable. But they are different sets. And if they made one in *universal* tan surely i would get one too :-) Now, seriously, and with all due respect, i think you missed my point. English is not my native (...)   Re: Announcing new Legend!

(...) I agree. I get tired of each new thread Jake starts turning into a color complaint. It makes it difficult to enjoy reading a thread. That's probably why I had an edge to the words in my first reply to him. (22 years ago, 7-May-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego)

  Re: Announcing new Legend!

Wow! How cool! I really liked that set, errrm "Model". I broght 4 of them back in the day. Some of the parts helped me build the Little Blue Bot. Good news, thank you! e (22 years ago, 7-May-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego)

  Re: Announcing new Legend!

Nice choice, Jake! Of course, I already own 3-5 in blue, and 2 in red (I built a Red Fury before *you* guys did!). Make my day - release part 6005 in yellow so I can finally make a Yellow Fury (I KNOW they exist, they were used as fingers on the (...) (22 years ago, 7-May-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego)

Re: We Build For Fun, Right? (was Re: Announcing new legend!)

(...) It doesn't bug me. If they're only going to stick around to complain, then I'd rather not have to filter through their posts. (...) Yes, I think it's quite extreme. It puzzles me, but it doesn't upset me. To each his own. -Tim (22 years ago, 7-May-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego)

  Re: Announcing new legend!

(...) Tim, Agreed. Yes, there are some strong arguments on each side (I have yet to voice my concern for it, let alone for parts) but I think we should talk about set concepts and theme issues and sweet MOCs. Also, "Hello to you" as I haven't spoken (...) (22 years ago, 7-May-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego, FTX)

We Build For Fun, Right? (was Re: Announcing new legend!)

(...) It was that last sentence that really got me thinking. Some posts I've seen put up about going into a "quasi-dark-age" have just left me uneasy. There is nothing wrong voicing displeasure with what LEGO has done but to take as far as "That's (...) (22 years ago, 7-May-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego)

(...) So when will enough have been said? When the thread reaches 300 posts? 400? 1000? When the change is finally reverted [1]?
