Short term, my spending has gone up. I spent a lot of money at Dollar General and on clearance stuff at WalMart and KB - all 2003 and earlier sets. My shopping behaviour hasn't changed a bit. Apart from the odd Technic set I bought (the back-hoe and the 8868 from E-vil-bay), my Lego collection has been grown just like previous years; every minifig-scale set that was brought out, ended up in my (...) I think they're just refusing to admit that one of the reasons for the color change is that they use recycled ABS now for some grey and black (as noted in various articles on the web). The entire LEGO color pallete leans well towards the warm side of the spectrum, including colors that you wouldn't immediately think of, like green and white (this probably has something to do with the fact that natural (...) I have not bought any 2004 sets yet, nor do I have any plans to do so. since I heared of the colour change I have bought 2003 sets from Wallmart, TRU and S@H, and I have placed some Bricklink orders (naturally with lots of grey and brown peices), (...) When I came home from reading week one of the first things my younger brothers did was tell me how ugly and blue the new dark gray was.
