Re: The new greys: White will be next

(...) I thought the yellowing of the white bricks was due to age and reaction to UV or something like that. Perhaps the new colors use a dye that doesn't do this? Nah! They'd have said so by now. (22 years ago, 22-Dec-03, to lugnet.general)

How do you start a Lego Club?

I have looked in my area and there are none that are in my area. I am in the DixieLug area, but they have an adult theme (mostly adults attending) and that is not what I need (no offence). We also are not really into the Trains (the North Georgia (...) (22 years ago, 22-Dec-03, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Knights' Kingdom figures

(...) Well first, i am DEFINATELY not a master of mecha, in fact, i am quite far from it :) Your post has humbled me, it might just be my frustration in only being able to use technic ball joints and slizer arm joints in my mocs that has caused my (...) I for one am looking forward to getting my hands on some of those new joints, but I reject the assumption that any use I might put (...)   Re: Rare part list?

(...) I would say the hard hat in Maersk blue is more rare than the yellow hard hat. It was only in one set (AFIK - #1651), and that was a promo set. Plus there are 2 yellow construction helmets on BL now and 5 sold in the last 6 months - as opposed (...) (22 years ago, 22-Dec-03, to lugnet.general)

(...) Mr. Wee Lean hasn't said anything, for a few days so I'd assume he doesn't have any leads yet. I'm sure he'd be glad to get them! Josh (22 years ago, 22-Dec-03, to lugnet.town, lugnet.general, lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

The new greys: White will be next

I have just built the new minifig-scale SnowSpeeder, and have the following observation on my first encounter with the new greys. Putting the new greys side by side with the old, the yellow tint in the old is very apparent, but when the old are (...) (22 years ago, 21-Dec-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: Celebrating a Century of Flight - Minifig Scale Wright 1903 Flyer

(...) Hi Christain, Great work, thanks for sharing it and also that piece of information. I was just wondering, does anyone knows if TLC of anyone else ever build something that is actually flying made from LEGO bricks? (URL) (22 years ago, 21-Dec-03, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.general, FTX)

lost parts replacement from Lego company

First of all, I would like to say I have been out of the loop for a number of years. I used to follow RTL pretty regularly and even post once in a while if I had something useful to contribute. In the last few weeks I have been regaining a lot of my (...) (22 years ago, 21-Dec-03, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Rare part list?

(...) Mike, I keep track of rare parts. The hat you are talking about is not a rare part, but rather exists in a rare color. Black is harder to find, but the truely rare color is yellow. The hard hat only appeared in Yellow in 2 sets. Another rare (...) (22 years ago, 21-Dec-03, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Rare part list?

(...) You can always consult Peeron, but as far as I know nobody keeps a list of rare parts, because there are hundreds of rare parts! Here's the hard hat: (URL) came mostly in Paradisa sets, which are highly collectible. However it was also in Rock (...) (22 years ago, 20-Dec-03, to lugnet.general)

  Rare part list?

Is there a list someplace of all the really rare elements? I just found two black hard hats while I was cleaning up my LEGO table and seem to recall something about that being a rare color for that part. Am I right? ~Mike (22 years ago, 20-Dec-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: While You Were Out on TLC

  Re: Knights' Kingdom figures

Hello! (...) If TLC still made "friendly" sets they would need tons of (cypress) trees.   Re: While You Were Out on TLC
