Re: Best Lego Year of all time?

(...) I've always thought 1990 was a great year for Lego.   Re: Best Lego Year of all time?

(...) Wow! What an interesting topic. I think 1987 was a fantastic year for Legoland town sets. There were a lot of terrific new releases at that time such as 6393, 6379, etc. Additionally, there were also plenty of mid 80s sets that were still (...) (22 years ago, 26-Feb-03, to lugnet.general)

1993. 4547 railroad club car (great train car) 6048 majestos magical workshop (pretty good castle set, I still think Majesto is a cool figure) 6286 Skulls Eye Schooner (second best pirate ship of all time behind the Black Seas Baracuda) 6398 Central (...) (...) That graph is very interesting. I also find it not that surprising that Juniorized sets appeared just as studless beams/liftarms started to become the norm for Technic sets. (...) Go ahead then. Name the best year for each theme :-) (22 years ago, 26-Feb-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: Best Lego Year of all time?

(...) Very interesting. Using Lugnet set rating data as of September 16th 2002, I played around with the numbers a bit. (...) As is your speeling 8?) FWIW, I also can't answer Matt's poll, as my answer would be "yes and no" for instance I still have all my minifig scale cranes, but larger MOCs (e.g. my big bridge) I just can't afford to keep. ROSCO (22 years ago, 25-Feb-03, to lugnet.general)

(...) 2003. By far and away. You have Mindstorms, LEGENDS, bulk bricks, MOC series, licenses, new colors... the list goes on. The past pales in comparison IMO. I really believe that the present is the golden age of LEGO. JOHN (22 years ago, 25-Feb-03, to lugnet.general)

Best Lego Year of all time?
