Re: Download parts automatically with your preferred modeller?

In lugnet.cad, Willy Tschager writes: <Snip> Here, Here! I'm a casual user of the LDraw line, using MLCad to look at different MOCs around the community. But, I'm constantly plagued by "Part Number ... Not Found! Continue Loading?" An auto updater, (...)   ozBricks Fans Websites

Hi everybody. Since a lot of LEGO fans have websites under ozBricks, and most of us don't even know of their existence, I made a website that contains a full list of links to those websites. www.ozbricks.net/links It's divided so far to sectors like (...)   Re: Another AFOL creation copy on Lego.com...

(...) ?!?! That's not even a creation copy, it's a photo copy. It's just a duplicate pic. Awhile back people were selling on ebay some duplicate MOCs that others had built, at least those people BUILT the stuff. This kid just copied the link. Why go (...)   Next chapter of Anachronistic Skies posted.

Hello, well after the last month or so of writing chapter five of my story, (No, I didn't stop writing after the constructive criticism :) I'm pleased to announce the next section of my story.   Useless part - or is it?

I recently acquired two NBA Collectors' sets. I like the minifigs, but the bases they stand on seem useless for building. Can anyone come up with a use for them? I'd love to see what you come up with. See here for an example: <set:3560> -Tim (22 years ago, 22-Feb-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build)

Looking for someone to take over the LUG Map...

Unfortunately I really don't have the time needed to keep the LUG Map up to date. There have been several clubs waiting to be included but I just havn't had the time.   Re: Name that part

(...) Hi Andy, The part you are talking about is from some Belville sets like Pretty Playland #5870. It is used for the merry go round and other such items! I have a ton of these in yellow from those sets. I don't think they are listed on partsref (...) (22 years ago, 22-Feb-03, to lugnet.general)

  Name that part

Apologies in advance if this is not the best place to post this question... I was in the Lego store in Downtown Disney two days ago. They have a few play areas where you can build with miscellaneous bricks. In one of these, I saw a part that I've (...) (22 years ago, 22-Feb-03, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Making non-permanent stickers

Little trick for getting rid of troublesome stickers ... and it works on things other than Lego too :) get a hair dryer and heat up the sticker first, no matter how old the sticker is the heat tends to rejuvinate the glue and it all comes off in one (...)   Re: Another AFOL creation copy on Lego.com...

(...) Well, this shows that this 12 Y.O. kid is dumb. Brad Hamilton'S work includes many buildings way more beautiful than this one and the kid choose this one. Unless he is Brad's nephew or something and they built it together.... :-) (22 years ago, 22-Feb-03, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Making non-permanent stickers

(...) Hello Bill, Maybe use the kind of foil with strong electrostatic properties, that clings on to a smooth surface like it's magnetic. It's from Avery, and it's used to place logo's on cars or glas panes temporarely. There is a reference of it (...) (22 years ago, 21-Feb-03, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Making non-permanent stickers

I use Avery labels for most everything I have done, generally they come off cleanly. If there is residue, it will rub off with a hand-towel (I keep one on hand for dusting elements anyway). If by age and neglect the glue residue is more severe, then (...) (22 years ago, 21-Feb-03, to lugnet.general)

  Making non-permanent stickers

I'd like to make stickers to decorate some of my MOC's, but I don't want them to be permanent. When I take the MOC apart I want to be able to remove the sticker without any residue. Any recommendations for this? Oh yeah, and it needs to be (...) (22 years ago, 21-Feb-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: Download parts automatically with your preferred modeller?

Hi Willy - (...) Yes, getting started can be difficult for some new users. We've tried to put up clear instructions, but some still struggle with that.
