Folks, What is the difference between the Lego Group (TLG) and Lego as a company? The latter (I assume) manufactures Lego products, while the former sounds like an investment group. TLG seems to hold all the copyrights, etc. Isn't Lego privately (...) (26 years ago, 31-Jan-99, to lugnet.general)

Pitsco in their new catalog has a set N779816 which is 276 tiles with sans-serif single letters. The description says they "connect to Duplo building plates and bricks". Anyone get these? Hi All, Just picked up a collection that appears to be complete and in excelent to near mint condition, which is great as the majority of the sets were released between 1973 and 1982. It contained plenty of classic lego sets, with instructions and (...) (26 years ago, 29-Jan-99, to lugnet.general)

For any of you interested, here's how I came up with the slopes formula: Layer 1 and 2 have no 2x2 slopes, they start at layer 3. Layer 3 has 4, layer 4 has 8, 5 has 12, etc. (add 4 to each layer). This gives the series: sum(0,0,4,8,12, ... (...) (26 years ago, 29-Jan-99, to lugnet.general)
