Hi All,

Just picked up a collection that appears to be complete and in excelent
to near mint condition, which is great as the majority of the sets were
released between 1973 and 1982. It contained plenty of classic lego
sets, with instructions and catalogs of the era. The box weighed 28
pounds and all the pieces are neatly sorted in cliplock bags plus a shoe
box full of wheels from the era.

The collection is as follows:

0134 Mobile Crane and Wagon 1975
0381 Delivery Van & Forklift Truck 1973
0614 Excavator (x2) 1976
0641 Excavator 1978
0659 Police Patrol 1975
0660 Car with Plane Transporter 1975
0684 Low Loader with Forklift Truck 1972
0689 Truck and Shovel 1976
0690 Shell Station 1976
0812 Gears, Axles and Bricks 1974
0850 Forklift 1979

0886 Space Buggy 1979
0889 Radar Truck 1979
0897 Launcher 1978
0918 Space Transport 1978
6000 Lego Idea Book (with sticker sheet intact) 1980
6678 Pneumatic Crane 1980
6801 Rocket Sled 1981

8844 Helicopter (x2) (one with box) 1981
8848 Power Truck 1981
8860 Auto Chassis 1981
8888 Technic Idea Book 1980
Lego motor guarantee card with serial no.
1975 Lego Catalog (Mini European)
1980 Lego Catalog (Large European)
1980 Lego Catalog (Mini European)
1981 Lego Catalog (Medium European) (x2)
1981 Lego Catalog (Mini European)
1982 Lego Catalog (Mini European)
1982 Lego Catalog (Spare Parts) (x2)
1983 Lego Catalog (Mini European) (x3)
1983 Lego Catalog (Spare Parts)
1989 Lego Catalog (Mini European)
1990 Lego Catalog (Mini European)

Plus a shoe box full of 4.5V blu and grey track.

Plus a large bag of extra pieces including one of the early type of flat
trees, extra old style technic gears, many clear bricks, and 62 chain
links designed for the old styled gears (never seen these before).

To be honest there are a lot of pieces in this collection I've never
seen before. There's a white tail piece from an aircraft that is nothing
like what lego has produced in the last ten years.

FOTW nothing, more like a FOTY. You wouldn't by chance be interested in selling the 0918 Space Transport, would you? -John Van Mark Harrison wrote in message <36B1BB36.E6FFBDD9@o...net.au>... (...) (26 years ago, 29-Jan-99, to lugnet.general)
