Larry, when do you suppose you'll know if you're in?

It's driven by other events and their dates...  when BrickFest dates are
finalized and MichLTC participation in the NMRA Toronto show is known, and
negotiations with Josete are completed (we're talking potentially 3 weekends
in a row being away!), I'd have some idea. NO idea when that would be though.

Unfortunately, GenCon has an event registration deadline of March 7.

The mech game (sorry, too lazy to look up the name right now) would be a
fine pick up game. I assume (hmm, seen any donkeys lately...) we can
supply the list of GMs for our events later so we could probably still
slot Larry in as a GM (assuming he would be willing to at least pretend
to help with one of the slotted games).

I'm willing to do more than pretend... :-) I could see myself easily doing
sutler duty in ESPG with a little coaching, and that struck me as being
something that was time consuming and distracting to the main GM.

Given the deadline for event reg, let's go ahead and say I will be there,
and slot Mechaton in to one of the slots. It's a very easy game to run
(clever designer!) and although it uses lots of 1d6, every gamer worth their
salt has lots of those so it can be run even if I am not there.

So do I have to go to the gencon site and register now? Maybe this is a
mailing list question but I'm not sure of the mechanics of what happens when
registrationwise since it's a coordinated track.

(...) It is not expressly stated in the literature that I have. I have that very question outstanding with them. Hopefully I'll hear back from them tomorrow. Chris (22 years ago, 2-Mar-03, to lugnet.gaming)

(...) If all our events are being run by "GLUG" judges instead of specific people, you don't need to get your badge yet. James (22 years ago, 2-Mar-03, to lugnet.gaming)
