Okay, but what about the armor the troops have on them, like shields, plate
armor, helmets etc.???

| Ah, well, this information appears near the end of Chapter Two: The Trooper's Arsenal in section labeled "2.4.1 Armor" ((URL) it's near the bottom of the page). Depending on what armor or equiptment the unit has, that AV number gets added to the (...) (23 years ago, 20-Mar-02, to lugnet.gaming)

| Mmmm, I'm not exactly sure if this is the answer you're looking for, but the rules read that a Troopers Armor Value is the TekLevel + 1. So if you're playing at TL 5, you're regular line, die-like-flies, trooper have an AV of 6 (TL5 + 1 = 6). These (...) (23 years ago, 19-Mar-02, to lugnet.gaming)
