Anyone up for a big castle Brickwars over break?

With Christmas break coming up, will anyone have time to get together (on the east coast) and set up a day of Brickwars? I'm thinking big - to have a few thousand soldiers and heroes and make a really cool landscape - something we could plan out in (...) (...) *eyes his maybe 300 minfig total across all themes* "um.... RUN AWAY! RUN AWAY!" But seriously - What about a bonus/modifier for a smaller, leaner, more highly trained band of Merc's.... I mean.. my history is weak and it's been ages since I (...) (24 years ago, 26-Nov-00, to lugnet.gaming, lugnet.castle.org.cw)

(...) Alliances with other armies, of course! (And I think you mean Dan Siskind) (...) Well, I was all ready for a BrikWars at the Brickfest... but no one was up for it, really. :-( Are you gonna be there next yeat, Pawel? (...) I don't think I know (...)   Re: Improv-ed Medieval BrikWars

(...) I think another issues that arose is that people with huge armies (Dan Whatshisname:), James Aldrich(1)) would then have an unfair advantage over those that haven't complied 500-1000 troops. So how do you settle that? About gaming - I would (...) (24 years ago, 26-Nov-00, to lugnet.gaming, lugnet.castle.org.cw)

  Re: Improv-ed Medieval BrikWars

  Re: Improv-ed Medieval BrikWars

(...) Actually, there was a lot of discussion about this when the idea of CW was still young... Several people WANTED to stage battles based on the number of troops they had, storm other people's castles and fortresses, etc. The idea is pretty much (...) I don't see how CW would be 'damaged' if some of its members decided to let a chapter or two of their respective stories be determined or influenced by the events that occur within a wargame... of course, they would have to be careful about (...) (...) pictures. It seems awful gutsy to risk them in such a pitched battle. Wouldn't it be something if you could use BrikWars to determine the fates of clashing CW empires? It's almost hard to imagine. - Mike. (24 years ago, 26-Nov-00, to lugnet.gaming, lugnet.castle, lugnet.loc.us.ma.bos)

(...) FU: We didn't have time to finish the game, but it sure looked like I lost. Bad strategy on my side, for splitting up my army and putting the cavalry before the foot-soldiers; plus, I was going against both Tim and Brandon at the same time. Oh (...)   Improv-ed Medieval BrikWars

Hey-- Tim (Courtney), Brandon (Grifford) and I are right here (my place) playing slightly-Improv-ed Brikwars. Meaning we're making up rules as we go along, not really following the rules, just looking for action. Carnage is everywhere. Pictures are (...) My own Lego game, USLCS, version 2 rules are gonna be released by SUnday, after a long sleep. All I need to do now is scan some parts, write one article, and it'll be up! Just thought that some of you guys might like to know, if you even care (...) (24 years ago, 22-Nov-00, to lugnet.gaming)

(...) Well, there's something you don't hear often. (...) Ok, already I have a fairly universal question about this formula. The standard trooper has 1d6 skill, and 1 power. We'll assume he's trying to throw something with a mass of 1, as well. So, (...) (24 years ago, 7-Nov-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug, lugnet.gaming)
