  Starship Reports 01/29/04

Galactic Greetings! Inter-sector movement reports have been mailed and should now be completely up-to-date, including those for ships that were previously pending registration. My SM reports are sent (along with some rather fun events, IMO). My (...) (21 years ago, 30-Jan-04, to lugnet.gaming.starship)

  Re: Brikwars in DC?

(...) I was thinking a TL2 or TL3 game.. I was going to leave it up to majority concensus. I put my vote in for a TL3. I have plenty of cannon, horse, and gun toting men in blue and gray to field. Also, we need to decide on a time. (21 years ago, 29-Jan-04, to lugnet.gaming.brikwars)

Re: De-lurk and MOC: OGRE/GEV miniatures

Hey Dan, Welcome! I really like the way you used minifig hands to make guns--clever idea. Also the 1x1 round plates to simulate tank treads works quite well. Looking forward to future MOCs Bruce (21 years ago, 28-Jan-04, to lugnet.gaming)

(...) I'm up for a game, not sure how to get a room though. What TL? Sean (21 years ago, 28-Jan-04, to lugnet.gaming.brikwars)

Re: De-lurk and MOC: OGRE/GEV miniatures

(...) Dan, These are pretty cool, you're going to make me start up again on min-scale Ogre vehicles (not an Ogre though, I have nowhere near enough treads). Thanks, George (21 years ago, 28-Jan-04, to lugnet.gaming)

  De-lurk and MOC: OGRE/GEV miniatures

Hi. I'm Dan Efran, the Martian Ambassador. I've been lurking here since the end of my LEGO Dark Age, about a year ago, but this is my first post and my first serious MOC. Playable miniatures for Steve Jackson's classic wargames, OGRE and G.E.V. The (...) (21 years ago, 28-Jan-04, to lugnet.gaming, lugnet.space, lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.announce.moc) !

(...) Actually, I'm already a part of the WAMALUG Yahoo group. I just never get the mail or post anything :) Guess I'm one of those lurkers.. I'm mostly into lower tech stuff, so I'll have to see what I can do to come up with some higher tech (...) (21 years ago, 27-Jan-04, to lugnet.gaming.brikwars)

  Re: Brikwars in DC?

(...) Hey, have armies.. will Brikwars. :) No armies, no problem. I'll lend, we play, everyone has fun. Sounds like a sales pitch? It is. The only thing I'm fairly limited on is scenery simply because I have little room to keep it in. But given some (...) (21 years ago, 27-Jan-04, to lugnet.gaming.brikwars)

  Re: Brikwars in DC?

(...) I'm not very familiar with how WAMALUG goes about getting rooms at GMU, but there should be no problem with getting a good sized room. Any local college, or civic center would be open for use with just a little prior notice I think. We could (...) (21 years ago, 27-Jan-04, to lugnet.gaming.brikwars)

Re: New Moc: The Wrath of God

In lugnet.space, Dan Mattia wrote some nice complements. Thanks, Dan. Believe it or not, this behemoth has been sulking around my top shelf for nearly two months now.   Re: Brikwars in DC?

(...) Would we hold it at GMU like WAMALUG or at a different location? I've also got a decent army that I'm willing to crush or get crushed. Sean (21 years ago, 27-Jan-04, to lugnet.gaming.brikwars)
