I just tried it in my Mac (using Virtual PC). I can confirm that the software is
awful. It's too bad.. looks like a lot of work went into it and it could have
been fantastic. ..kind of a tease of what could have been. I think it's worth
seeing if you haven't, but don't expect to want to launch it again. I found it
very frustrating.
But I really want to report on some of the CD's other contents. There's the LEGO
Creator manual as a .pdf file, a Merriam Webster dictionary set, a Bible thing,
some Lightdog "family" internet connection software, a couple teasers for other
LEGO Media sw products (LEGO Racers and LEGO Rock Raiders) and a coupon for a $5
rebate from LEGO.
Two LEGO Media titles I hadn't heard of before are mentioned as "Coming Soon":
LEGO Action Team and LEGO Stunt Rally. No pictures or other info there. The
coupon is a .pdf (image) and mentions two more products I haven't seen: LEGO My
Style Preeschool and LEGO My Style Kindergarten. The coupon expires 10/31/00.
So while eating my yum-yum cereal, I'll be holding my breath for more of that
amazing LEGO software. ...heh. right.
