If pre-build islands and such are available, Pirate Game setup can be
done in an hour. Player setup can be done in another hour or less.

That would be cool. I doubt TLC will go for it yet. If they do anything
of the sort, I would expect to see it first at a model railroad show
(where they could probably do a simple analysis and determine that they
would get real value to flying two people and shipping a few crates
worth of train sets).

Unfortunately, BrickWars point values are somewhat subjective. The
Pirate Game won't benefit too much from pre-event setup of this nature.

Yes.

Something we need to start considering.

Evil Stevie's Pirate Game can support players coming an going in the
campaign game. No additional rules necessary. The battle game is a
different animal. Of course a long session time calls for the campaign
game.

I don't think Steve would want to publish BrickWars. The Pirate Game is
property of Steve Jackson the person, not Steve Jackson Games. He
mentioned this was very deliberate. He wants us to take the Pirate Game
and run with it. He doesn't want us to take Car Wars and re-publish it
(though I doubt he'd have a problem with someone printing up modified
rules to work with LEGO for use at a game con, just don't distribute
them).
