Just for fun, take a poll —Suzanne D. Rich
I made these recently, intending to share them with LUGNET members. I hope you will all participate, so we can get some solid results! Should be interesting.. This one harks back to olden days of rec.toys.lego. The idea isn't mine. Credit goes to (...) (22 years ago, 9-Aug-02, to lugnet.fun, lugnet.announce) !!

Re: Just for fun, take a poll —Cary Clark
In lugnet.fun, Suzanne D. Rich writes: ... (...) baggies?] ... My answer: none of the above. I think the holes are there to allow the bag to be squeezed, not so that it weighs less, but so that it takes up less volume, allowing the box to be (...) (22 years ago, 9-Aug-02, to lugnet.fun)

Re: Just for fun, take a poll —Suzanne D. Rich
(...) Hmm.. let me put it this way: - If you don't care, DON'T TAKE THE POLL! ;-) - You don't know?? Isn't that why we're asking the question?! ;-) This isn't a quiz, I only asked "what do you think?" - Future polls? WHAT future polls? - None of the (...)           Re: Just for fun, take a poll —Suzanne D. Rich
(...) Hey Cary, BTW, none of the above response was meant to be serious. I was just kidding around while avoiding your question. But now I'm afraid that my message might not have read as silly as I meant it.. Anyways, "Yes, Cary," I think your (...) (22 years ago, 9-Aug-02, to lugnet.fun)

Re: Just for fun, take a poll —Michael Harrod
(...) Obviously, they're not there as an act of kindness towards animals. I just opened Scala sets 3151 and 3148 and found Sniff(dog in 3151) in a bag with no holes and Ludo and Luna (bear-ish looking animals in 3148) in one as well, never mind the (...)      Wee-haa! Well folks, we're 90 minutes into it now. So far there's a big sympathy for minifigs needing oxygen, while Jailbreak Joe and King Kahuka go sadly unloved... -Suz (...) (22 years ago, 9-Aug-02, to lugnet.fun)

Re: Just for fun, take a poll —Bruce Hietbrink
(...) The classic space fig (my vote) doesn't need holes in his bag because he comes with his own oxygen tanks. :) Bruce (22 years ago, 9-Aug-02, to lugnet.fun)

Re: Just for fun, take a poll —Kecia Hansen
(...) Heh Heh. Very funny. But where is my hero - Johnny Thunder... Maybe he aint old enough? Kecia (22 years ago, 9-Aug-02, to lugnet.fun)

Re: Just for fun, take a poll —John P. Henderson
Hee!Hee! Lotsa fun! (I loved the old Lego Purity Test, wherever that may be...) Anyway, Bill & Mary were the first two (named) figs I ever knew, and then the Ice-Babe was the first whose fan-given name seemed (to me) to be so quickly and widely (...)         Re: Just for fun, take a poll —Brendan Powell Smith
Not to be at all antagonistic, but out of curiosity, could someone explain to me the fetish so many people seem to have for the Blacktron guy? I don't get it. Isn't he just a retread of the classic space guy in black, replacing the cool logo with (...) (22 years ago, 10-Aug-02, to lugnet.fun)

Re: Just for fun, take a poll —Larry Pieniazek
(...) Um, he's BLACKTRON! If it has to be explained, you wouldn't understand. :-) (22 years ago, 10-Aug-02, to lugnet.fun)

Re: Just for fun, take a poll —Benjamin Medinets
(...) I think the "uniform" is tres (very) cool. It looks like a member of the deathsquad or some futuristic shock troop. It conveys a perfect depiction of evil bad guy....in a space setting. Ben (22 years ago, 10-Aug-02, to lugnet.fun)

Re: Just for fun, take a poll —Maggie Cambron
(...) Seeing that you are a man of many talents, (well, and also cuz I know you've done it before!) removing it should be a cinch for you. Me, I voted for Timmy, the fig with the face only a mother could love! Maggie C. (...) (22 years ago, 12-Aug-02, to lugnet.fun)

Re: Just for fun, take a poll —Richard Marchetti
(...) Well, it is a cinch (any #11 blade will do!) -- I just don't want to do it to every Cam head I own. Plus, this custom fig *is* a space figure and I like the retro-future look of the microphone sometimes. I see Lady Blacktron as keeping a (...) (22 years ago, 12-Aug-02, to lugnet.fun)

Re: Just for fun, take a poll —Seth McCarus

Re: Just for fun, take a poll —John P. Henderson
(...) <snip> (...) Hey Rev, besides the fact that they came with some darn cool vehicles, the Blacktron figs were also the first to have *black visors* (that I know of). In fact, I know of none since then either. This unique feature should be (...) (22 years ago, 12-Aug-02, to lugnet.fun)

Re: Just for fun, take a poll —Brian Tobin
Great Idea!! Keep 'em coming. But how could you not include a knight or guard from the classic "Yellow Castle"? (I know, I know, if you didn't draw the line somewhere, you'd have ad a list of hundreds of minifigs!) :) (...) (22 years ago, 12-Aug-02, to lugnet.fun)
