  NWBC 2003 Post Mortem

This year we had an outstanding event. I'm happy to report this post mortem message should be substantially shorter than last years due to fewer issues. The space was awesome. One large room that perfectly accomidated what we aimed to accomplish. I (...) (23 years ago, 8-Oct-03, to lugnet.events.nwbrickcon, lugnet.general)

  Re: Puppy Mecha - F.I.D.O.

(...) Thanks. My motives are easy; I like seeing lots of stuff at these events, it sounds like shipping would be a bear, it looks like I got the necessary parts, and (selfish bit) it looks like tons of fun to play with! But I'm kind of a believer in (...) (23 years ago, 8-Oct-03, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

  Re: Puppy Mecha - F.I.D.O.

(...) So I've got a bit of time then. I actually sat down last night and modeled it in MLCAD, but before I could save it I got an infinitely looping error message and had to abort the program and lost the lot :( (I know - you'd think a professional (...)   Re: Help with registering and accommodation

1. Here's a list of B&B's on the zwolle tourist information site: (URL) There's no difference. In holland you can only make reservations for international trains, so there's no need for advance fares. There are no open returns either. There is a (...)   Re: Our Heroes, Keith Goldman and Chris Maddison

(...) Again Ashley, thanks a bunch. It's always great to see people utilize a design and push past it in some way. You and Mark deserve a bunch of credit for actually going thru with the project and making it one of the biggest hits of the show. (...) (23 years ago, 8-Oct-03, to lugnet.events.nwbrickcon)

Re: The Great American Biomechanical Bricks Northern USA Tour 2003

Well boys and girls, Eric and I made it back to my place in record time. We left Seattle at about 11 pm pacific time after visiting Dan Parker's awesome studio and Wayne Hussey's house. Eric will reply more on those experiences later. Back in Iowa (...) (23 years ago, 8-Oct-03, to lugnet.events.nwbrickcon, FTX)

Re: Help with registering and accommodation

(...) 2+3 : Tickets are easiest to get at the counter at Schiphol, or one of the vending machines. If they still exist, the best thing for you to get is a "weekend retour" which allows you to go to Zwolle on saturday and back on sunday. If it's (no (...)   Re: Our Heroes, Keith Goldman and Chris Maddison

Was there something we could have done as event organizers that would have solved this? Up here we knew that the wall was coming, it was no surprise to the members of SEALUG. It just didn't dawn on us (I know not myself anyway) that you'd think we (...) (23 years ago, 8-Oct-03, to lugnet.events.nwbrickcon)

  Help with registering and accommodation

Dear all, I have been highly remiss in organising my trip to Legoworld due to how busy I am at work at the moment. I have worked out that I can get a flight from Luton and a train from Amsterdam on Saturday morning and then a train and plane back (...) (23 years ago, 8-Oct-03, to lugnet.events.legoworld)
