I have some old (1930's or 40's?) red fired clay bricks which are the same size and virtually the same shape as LEGOs. Did LEGO make clay prototypes of some sort? Any help is appreciated. (24 years ago, 19-May-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

I would have *loved* to have (...) lord of the rings is a brilliant idea... if lego got a contract going with that guy (forget his name now) that wrote the book it would be so cool... and there could be a golum minifig! speaking of golum has anyone (...)
