Currently, there are three active major part databases out there: Partsref, Peeron Inventories, and the BrickLink Catalog. Pedro, good question: No, I was NOT sure they were LEGO, but now that I have checked the studs, they are NOT imprinted with "LEGO", but rather "TYCO" is imprinted on the very center of the plate. I found an unusual part while inventorying a recent eBay purchase of used LEGO. I found two identical elements that are blue 2x4 plates -- except when the two of them are connected, they equal the thickness of a regular brick. In other words, they (...)
