Re: BLdb version 0.1 Previews announcement

This is an awesome idea! In fact, I've begun the very same project a couple times, but never run it to completion. One feature that I wanted the most in my version, and would very much like to see in your version is integration with BrickLink. (...)   Re: Parts Catalog 0.0.12

(...) well, I tried it for the first time the other day, and here are my comments: searching: - When there's an exact match for a search, it should be the first highlight before showing partial matches. Eg "brick 1 x 2" shouldn't match "hinge brick (...) (23 years ago, 3-Mar-02, to lugnet.db.inv)

  Re: Part 3941 vs Part 6143 (Brick 2 x 2 Round)

(...) I took a look, and while I can't even find the same numbers you're talking about on most of those elements, I finally found an older yellow 3941 and newer blue 6143-- and I notice there are two distinct versions of these bricks.   Re: Bag info on peeron.com

I would find it useful, but so few inventories include the information. While the bag information may not help most people, it generally doesn't hurt them either. Usually parts of the same type and color are in the same bag. And for those sets that (...) (23 years ago, 2-Mar-02, to lugnet.db.inv)

  Re: Slurping at Peeron

Dan, If slurping is using a program to download a whole entire site, then I'm quite safe in saying that I won't, can't and probably never will be able to do that. (I'm a pathetic dial-up user, so it would take me eons, even if I knew how.) Something (...) (23 years ago, 2-Mar-02, to lugnet.db.inv)

  Re: Bag info on peeron.com

(...) I think that having all instances of a particular part appear only once in a report of each inventory would be a good thing. However, I don't care for the thought of losing information; bag information may be very hard to recover once a set is (...) (23 years ago, 2-Mar-02, to lugnet.db.inv)

  Part 3941 vs Part 6143 (Brick 2 x 2 Round)

While surfing the peeron database, I noticed that, in 7104 Desert Skiff, 'Brick 2 x 2 Round' is listed as p/n 3941, but noted with 'Number on piece is 6143'. Out of curiosity I pulled a desert skiff and looked at the piece. Indeed, the piece is (...) (23 years ago, 2-Mar-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.db.inv)

  Re: Parts Catalog 0.0.12

The program continues to get better and better. With Peeron releasing the picture ZIP file, things are really looking positive. Just a few notes as usual: - I continue to get access violations frequently when I delete items from an inventory. - When (...) (23 years ago, 2-Mar-02, to lugnet.db.inv)

Re: Peeron thumbnails available for Bob Kojima's Parts Catalog

(...) This is not only good news, this is great news! Now I don't have too peek at the Peeron images each time I'm unsure of a piece while working with PartsCat. Thanks! /Tobbe (URL) (23 years ago, 2-Mar-02, to lugnet.db.inv)
