I would find it useful, but so few inventories include the information.
While the bag information may not help most people, it generally doesn't
hurt them either. Usually parts of the same type and color are in the same
bag. And for those sets that they aren't (4709 comes to mind) the bags are
organized into modular parts of the set which I think is useful to have in
the inventory.
And I tend to be of the position that the more information you include the
better. You can always display less information than you have. If at some
point in the future we decide we do need the bag information, it's really
hard to go find MISB versions of sets to try to recreate that information.
Much easier to simply keep it around from the beginning just in case. Plus
with Parts Catalog it's very easy to go through bag by bag and record the
inventory information. It defaults the bag number to the last used so you
only have to enter it when you change bags.

| Hey all, Back in the day, when we built the Peeron Inventories, we thought having the bag info included in the inventories will be useful for some people. In case someone sells the seperate bags out of a set on ebay, or something like that. Now, (...) (23 years ago, 1-Mar-02, to lugnet.db.inv)
