Then not to point this out, but when people sign ‘petitions’, they are
usually under the impression that the petition they sign is the one that is
going to be received. By changing the wording of the petition ‘after the
people have signed it’, yet still using the same attached names will open
you up a whole other ‘kettle o’ fish’!

I would suggest cancelling this entire thread, and finalising the wording
before re-posting.

Every post has to be requested to be cancelled individually, by the person who
posted it. We don’t cancel entire threads. Even if the thread originator wants
it that way! That’s becauase LUGNET
I’ll certainly be glad to cancel any post I receive a url for from the poster,
as always. And if someone else wants to undertake an email writing project to
encourage everyone to do that, great. But not me. I’m not really up for asking
permission from everyone, that’s a big job and one that might not be
completable, new people keep posting.
