Re: One more thing and I think we're set...

(...) Oh, one more thing... There's still the question whether we actually feature the story on the site, or just link to it. I'm trying to get approval from the authors to do this (feature), but it's up to them. -Shiri (24 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: One more thing and I think we're set...

(...) Er, what exactly are the advantages of having it on the CW site? I can see a lot of 'convenience' advantages for having the stories *not* being on the CW site - for example, the fact that editing, adding to, or otherwise altering the web pages (...)   Re: One more thing and I think we're set...

(...) Wilson (...) Are you trying to get approval to put them on the CW site, and not just link them? I'm fine with either method, the story really doesn't change if it's on one site or the other anyways. One question, are the "award icons" going to (...)   Re: One more thing and I think we're set...

(...) Someone could make an archive of stories or an index page of links at or on a subpage of (URL) they wanted to. --Todd (24 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: One more thing and I think we're set...

(...) Come to think of it, there are none. Except that I thought it would be nice... but I definitely see your point, and agree. Todd brings up another issue that I was wondering about. How would people feel if the CW stuff would be on .org.cw? (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: One more thing and I think we're set...

(...) D'oh - that reminds me... Jeff, you also had a story on your page, correct? Sain and Batu... yeah... any chance we can add it to the list? -Shiri (24 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: One more thing and I think we're set...

(...) Well, I wouldn't've mentioned it if it wasn't OK with me. You can put as much as you like there (as long as it doesn't break any of the LUGNET Terms of Use, for example infringing on other people's copyrights, etc.). Someone would need to act (...)   Re: One more thing and I think we're set...

Wow. Here's my take on this. This has great potential and (I already discovered) FTX is totally easy to use and would make life simpler. For a few examples for whoever's not familiar with the FTX... you could write all your chapters on individual (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: One more thing and I think we're set...

(...) Since part of the purpose of the page facility is to nurture LEGO-related group projects and things like that, if you wanted to have an editor set up and maintain CW pages in the CW area for people who aren't LUGNET Members, that's certainly (...)   Re: One more thing and I think we're set...

(...) In that case, that would be great!! I don't want to jump to conclusions, or to rush the whole group into this, though... I don't make all the decisions here. (Yet - Mwhahahaha! ;-) So... anyone else? Big agreement, big disagreement? A word? (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: One more thing and I think we're set...

(...) I think that's a great idea, then on the CW site, there could be a link to each of the member's story pages. I'm not a member yet, I just have to send in my money and I'll be set. ~Wilson P.S. I've been writing my story all day and can't wait (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: One more thing and I think we're set...

(...) Yeah! I'm working on an example now, I'll post it when I'm done... but it could be really great. Possibly, the CWSOTW could be in FTX... that'd make it *much* easier to maintain. (...) Yoohoo!!! -Shiri (24 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: One more thing and I think we're set...

(...) I can attest to that! :) I've been using FTX for CLSotW (Cool LEGO Site of the Week) for about...hmm... almost a year now and it sure is easy! And if I spot a typo, all I do is click "Edit This Page," type the change into the edit box, and (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

The Chronicles of Scar, Chapter 1 in FTX (was: one more thing...)

Here's a version of Chapter 1 in .ftx format: (URL) took me only a few hours, with MANY sidetrackings, to finish this. I'd say that net time of work was less than an hour. The pages that combine all the frames took about ten seconds each to (...) (24 years ago, 23-Jun-00, to lugnet.castle.org.cw) !

Re: The Chronicles of Scar, Chapter 1 in FTX (was: one more thing...)
