(...) <set:3345> and <set:3346> do not show up on the LegoShop website, are they still available over the phone? James (who hopes he hasn't missed out because L.D. can't keep to a timetable.) (23 years ago, 3-Mar-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

  Re: Whoo hoo!!!

You can purchase sets #3344 and #3345 from S@H. They have actually been available from S@H for some time now. However, I've never seen them shown in the catalogues. -L (23 years ago, 3-Mar-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

  Re: Whoo hoo!!!

(...) I got mine at the new LIC store in Anaheim, CA. They still have a lot available if anyone's intrested in working something out. Sorry if I'm not supposed to ask anything like that in this group. Christopher Pisciotti Loch Forest, CA (23 years ago, 2-Mar-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

  Re: Whoo hoo!!!

Hi all, I've been reading you guys posts about the ninja heroes sets. Are they available in the US. I got the green ninja set from S@H but I haven't seen the other two anywhere. Are they finally available from S@H? Thanks Steve (...) (23 years ago, 2-Mar-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

  Re: pirate + ninja

(...) The most entertaining book I read about US subs in the Pacific was the venerable 'Pig Boats,' a popular-issue book that was as of 1992 still available in paperback. As for academic books, Morison like most was still enamoured with the (...) (23 years ago, 2-Mar-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja, lugnet.pirates)

Re: Green Ninjas! and the Red Warlord!

In lugnet.castle, John Robert Blaze Kanehl writes: Here is my review of the Ninja Heroes when I received them a few months ago (for those of you who are interested in my opinion or if you don't have these yet) (...) (23 years ago, 2-Mar-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

  Re: Whoo hoo!!!

(...) I like the minifig pack and the miniheroes, but more than anything, I wish Lego would release a Ninja accessory pack with swords, helmets, etc so I may continue my tradition of "Samur-izing" every minifig and his brother... I felt the same way (...) (23 years ago, 2-Mar-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

  Re: Ninja Themed Armies

(...) Cool, isn't it? (Thanks again to Chris for asking and Todd for delivering) (...) I had to sell off some assets awhile back, but my Samurai, Ronin, Ninja armies still number 1000+. (...)   Re: pirate + ninja

(...) "Blind Man's Bluff" is a great book about the history of submarine warfare. (...) Japanese pirates during the period that the Ninja sets apply often picked up Koreans from ports they raided as part of the crew. Chris (23 years ago, 2-Mar-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja, lugnet.pirates)

  Re: pirate + ninja

(...) I'm still working 300 years before that! (...) Before Hideyoshi's invasion of Korea, there was really no Japanese "navy" so ship building tended to be on a fairly small scale, except for troop transports which were very boxy. (...) extremely (...) (23 years ago, 2-Mar-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja, lugnet.pirates)

  Re: Ninja Themed Armies

(...) Glad to see I'm not the only one building Ninja armies. =) My latest storyline involves the ninja clans attacking the regular castle folk, so I've been bulking up on the ninja figs - mwhahahaha! Last night's count shows 492 which includes 219 (...) (23 years ago, 2-Mar-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

  Re: Ninja Themed Armies

(...) Hmmmm, I haven't counted it, and I still have a bunch in unopened boxes. 30 cavalry, I know. Somewhere around 150-180 foot including MIB shirkers, maybe a third of that Ninja that I'm slowly acquiring helmets so they can be converted to (...) (23 years ago, 2-Mar-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

  Re: Ninja Themed Armies

  Re: pirate + ninja

  Re: Time to get acquainted...

My name is Sun and I TOO am a Lego Ninja theme fan. Like many other compatriots on this board, I was brought out of my dark ages thanks in part to this theme. My current involvement with the theme is fairly limited because of other Lego projects etc (...) (23 years ago, 2-Mar-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

  Ninja Themed Armies

I didn't even notice this news group until today. It's great that there is a place now where I can be sure to see stuff on ninja and nothing else to water things down :) So I was just wondering, how big are everyone's ninja armies? I asked this (...) (23 years ago, 2-Mar-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

  Re: Whoo hoo!!!

(...) Maybe not as ambitious as you think. I was only going to build one of the main donjon but it would span 4 large grey baseplates - am guessing 84n x 84 studs wide at the base of the donjon. Will report once I have done a nawabari ("laying down (...) (23 years ago, 2-Mar-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

  Ninja classifications

I spent last night sorting my ninjas and was wondering how you guys categorized them. There are black, grey, white, red, and green ninjas. So does each ninja class perform different jobs in your worlds? (23 years ago, 1-Mar-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

  Re: pirate + ninja

(...) You'll need some black hulls! (...) I think there's a minor difference between full-blown junks and sampans (sorry, I learned the spelling used by the US Navy during WWII--as maru traffic vanished, US subs began spending torpedoes on (...)
