  Re: Lego discontinuing Ninja series?

(...) The answer to your question: Bond. James Bond. 20 or so movies. I shudder to think how many Tarzan movies have been made. Sherlock Holmes - just counting the ones with Basil Rathbone would be a lot. I'm sure there are more. And regarding the (...) (23 years ago, 23-Sep-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja, lugnet.harrypotter)

  Re: Lego discontinuing Ninja series?

I am pretty sure, assuming Potter's popularity remains, that they would continue to make the movies beyond Goblet of Fire. The ending of GoF lends itself quite nicely to a sequal; personally, I'm dying to know whay will happen next. therefore, I (...)   Re: Lego discontinuing Ninja series?

(...) Well, there are two answers to that: J.K. Rowling has signed with Warner Bros. for the rights to EVERY Harry Potter book's movie adaptation.. That would mean that she's sold the rights to seven movies..quite a lump sum.. and quite a slate for (...) (23 years ago, 23-Sep-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja, lugnet.harrypotter)

  Re: Lego discontinuing Ninja series?

(...) Well I heard that we couldn't expect any new castle sets until after the Harry Potter stuff has come and gone. Perhaps they are discontinuing Ninja for the same reason? Although I''ll grant that Ninja nd HP are worlds apart. BTW, does anyone (...) (23 years ago, 22-Sep-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

  Lego discontinuing Ninja series?

On the Lego.com site, the Ninja theme pages are gone, and Lego Shop@Home only lists the Emperor & Green Ninjas and the Ninja Knights kits for sale (not even a mention of the other kits with the 'not available' listing)... (23 years ago, 22-Sep-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

  Ninjas

Hi all. I was wondering uf anyone had some green/brown rope with climbing grips on them for either trade or sale? I am also looking for black ninjas with either color katana, black preferred, also for trade/sale. Anyone got either they would want to (...) (23 years ago, 28-Aug-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

(...) Mean, perhaps… Constructive, no… Funny, VERY!!! Fine, t’was a bit far. But his childish “I'm gonna shoot myself” routine was just transparent. P.S.   Re: The Wanderer, an online image-novella.

(...) You may not have liked Bryan's original post (neither did I: see (URL) ), but this comment was of a degree more despicable than anything he wrote. If you cannot be constructive in your criticism, I recommend keeping your peace. Alan (23 years ago, 15-Aug-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, lugnet.castle.ninja)

Re: The Wanderer, an online image-novella.

Why do you need to attack the individual? You said, “you suck” about the creator of the Wanderer! Can’t you differentiate between a ‘story’ and a ‘person’? Perhaps the story did suck, but that doesn’t entitle you to insult the creator. P.S. why (...) (23 years ago, 14-Aug-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, lugnet.castle.ninja)

Sekigahara in Lego! That is my ultimate ambition, but at this rate I wont be able to do it till the 500th aniversary of the ballte (99 years from now).   Re: Ninja Dojo

Nice contrast in the walls, good use of open spaces from what I can see and I really like the gardening. My only suggestions would be that the "floor" should be a dark color rather than the same grey as the baseplates. Chris Barker (...) (23 years ago, 14-Aug-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

Re: The Wanderer, an online image-novella.

Bryan, Sensible comments. I'm not the writer of the story but I do have an opinion. Replies below: (...) This is an accepted method of storytelling. I'm sure there is even a term for it, but I don't know what it is. By bringing a reader/viewer into (...) (23 years ago, 14-Aug-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, lugnet.castle.ninja)

  GFLTC at GATS 2001 Orlando

The Greater Florida Lego Train Club appeared at the GATS 2001 in Orlando Aug 11 and 12.   Re: Japanese Sashimono (battle flags) + Ninja Chess Upgrade

(...) Joel, That is a great suggestion !! I had thought of making a very large microfig battlefield but even having 1 minifg to represent every 1000, that's a total of 170 minifigs. Ouch ! But with the super microfig scale and doing diorama scenes, (...) (23 years ago, 9-Aug-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja)
