  Castle Roll Call/Survey

I was doing a bit of digging around, and I found my first roll call, a year ago. So, I figured to do an update, and try to "theme" it a bit. Here goes: Name: Chris Maddison Gender: Male Year of Birth: 1982 Mental Age/Status of Inner Child: 10 or (...) (23 years ago, 11-May-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw, lugnet.castle, lugnet.people)

  Re: Castle-themed Village Designs

The figures and shield designs are great! How did you make the helmets? I have an archer very similar to your brown hooded crossbowman, but in black and with Qui Gon Jinn face. The solution to the mill is really good, I have tried several times to (...) (23 years ago, 11-May-01, to lugnet.castle)

  Castle-themed Village Designs

In light of my last post I officially invite enthusiasts to check out some designs I uploaded to Brickshelf. (URL) been done for a few months now- and I intend to create more- but the torso stickers have taken a huge chunk of time. -Kyle P.S. (...) (23 years ago, 11-May-01, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Castle walls (personal opinion)

Okay, personally, I have way too many grey and black castle walls. How about if LEGO decides to make white tudor walls as part of the pack? Or even red and yellow tudor walls? Of course this will stiffle the upward value of sets such as Guarded Inn (...) (23 years ago, 11-May-01, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Castle walls (personal opinion)

I'm with you on this one James. I'm sorry if my Posting seemed directed at you specifically, It was really intended to be more of a look into how the wall pieces add to the theme as opposed to detracting from it, and why there are a lot of us (...) (23 years ago, 11-May-01, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Castle walls (personal opinion)

(...) I guess I should clarify things, since I appear to be in the camp of "castle wall haters", which just ain't so. :) I don't actively despise the castle walls or anything, I just don't need more of them. I have used them at various times, and (...) (23 years ago, 11-May-01, to lugnet.castle)

  Castle walls (personal opinion)

I think castle wall sections are great for a lot of reasons that are possibly being overlooked. Certainly you can build castles without them, but they really add a lot in terms of decor and detail. You can make a castle with windows, but I'm not (...) (23 years ago, 10-May-01, to lugnet.castle)

Re: July surprise for castle fans!

(...) I love castle walls, but I have to admit, I have a hard time utilizing them outside of one of TLG's designs- my building skills need honing. I so totally agree with the 1x1 and 1x3 bricks - light and dark grey, tan, and brown, if you please, (...) (23 years ago, 10-May-01, to lugnet.castle)

(...) Absoloutely fine. Heck, that's probably why Anthony started this part of the thread. And I certainly agree that there are those who want 'em. I guess what I was suprised at was the sarcasm.
