I'd look forward to being able to supplement my walls with some black with
grey stones exposed, or maybe some more grey corner pieces.  If anyone out
there really does have buckets and buckets of them laying around because
they don't like them, e-mail me, and I'd love to purchase them!  Jon

I guess I should clarify things, since I appear to be in the camp of "castle
wall haters", which just ain't so. :)

I don't actively despise the castle walls or anything, I just don't need
more of them.  I have used them at various times, and will certainly use
them again, but I've got lots, and they're really a lot lower on my
"acquire" list than many other parts, especially bricks, plates, arches &
slopes.

I'm not saying they're bad, or that people out there don't want them - I'm
just saying *I* don't want anymore.  Which should not be construed as saying
I want to get rid of the ones I have.  There's a large gap between "enough"
and "too many".  :D

Given my druthers, I want more versatile parts, that's all.  Other folks are
different, which is good.

James

...Now, if LEGO produced a castle wall piece that didn't have a window...
totally different story! :D :D :D

  Castle walls (personal opinion)

I think castle wall sections are great for a lot of reasons that are possibly being overlooked. Certainly you can build castles without them, but they really add a lot in terms of decor and detail. You can make a castle with windows, but I'm not (...) (24 years ago, 10-May-01, to lugnet.castle)
